Free Family fun featuring A Nod to Maud

2024 is the 150th anniversary of Lucy Maud Montgomery’s birth and Downtown Uxbridge is celebrating with a free Summer Social event. Visit historical Downtown Uxbridge on July 21 between 11am-2pm and join the celebrations. The theme for the Year of Maud is Hats, Cats & Flowers. In a nod to Lucy Maud’s love of hats, guests are invited to wear their best hats or bonnets for the event or make their own period-style hats during the event.

Celebrate All Things Strawberry in Downtown Uxbridge

From July 5-7, Downtown Uxbridge is bursting with all things strawberry for Strawberry Festival.

The award-winning Uxbridge Farmers’ Market has a focus on Strawberries on Sunday, July 7 from 9am-2pm. There are more than 50 vendors with seasonal produce, lots of farm-fresh berries, specialty baked goods and preserves and much more. The market offers themed Kids’ Zone activities, live music performance by Hisko & Clarke, and a pie-eating contest every hour on the hour from 10am-1pm.

The Uxbridge BIA is hosting an Easter Eggstravaganza on March 30th from 11:00a.m.-2:00p.m. in anticipation to this event the BIA is conducting an Easter Colouring Contest for the chance to win a prize basket!

Uxbridge BIA Hosting First-Ever Easter Eggstravaganza, March 30th

The Uxbridge BIA is egg-cited to announce the first-ever Easter Eggstravaganza!

The Uxbridge BIA Easter Eggstravaganza takes place Saturday, March 30th from 11:00a.m.-2:00p.m. Children 12 and under are welcome to join in on an Easter egg hunt at participating businesses located throughout town!

This event also includes pictures with the Easter Bunny! Make sure to stop by the BIA Hut located in the Circle K parking lot during the event to snap a pic.
