Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of a road closure on Ashworth Road in the Township of Uxbridge.

When: September 30 to October 31. Unfavourable weather conditions may impact the work schedule.

Where: Ashworth Road from Concession 6 to Regional Road 1 (Concession Road 7), in Uxbridge.

Township to Issue a Request for Proposal for Potential Rail Operators

In June of 2024, the Township of Uxbridge issued a Request for Expression of Interest (RFEI) to ascertain interest by train operators in operating a tourism heritage rail operation in Uxbridge.
