July 21-27 is National Drowning Prevention Week

 The Township of Uxbridge recognizes July 21-27as National Drowning Prevention Week (NDPW). This week provides a focus regarding the drowning issue in Canada and calls attention towards drowning prevention.

New all-way stop at Sandford Road/Herald Road and York Durham Line in Uxbridge

In support of Durham Vision Zero, The Regional Municipality of Durham is implementing a new all-way stop at the intersection of Sandford Road (Regional Road 11)/Herald Road and York Durham Line (Regional Road 30) in the Township of Uxbridge.  At the intersection of Sandford Road/Herald Road and York Durham Line in Uxbridge.  Work will be done on July 25, 2024. Unfavourable weather conditions may impact the work schedule.
