Christmas Crawl Returns Dec. 7, 14, 21!

Presented by the Cindy Wood Team, the 2nd annual Christmas Crawl promises to be bigger and better than ever! Join them three Thursdays in December from 5-9 pm for various events hosted by local businesses in Uxbridge, raffle baskets, and a chance to win a $500 grand prize. All proceeds will support the new build of the Uxbridge Hospital.

Discover Uxbridge’s Holiday Trail - Dec. 8-10th!

This year's theme is snow people! Enjoy late shopping, the Toonie trail, live music, life sized games, the Holiday Shopping Passport, and more. Embrace the festive spirit and celebrate the season with your community.

All of these events are designed to draw people to our downtown and boost our local economy, and we strongly encourage area businesses to stay open during event hours and welcome visitors with festive windows and lighting, themed specials, holiday tunes over the speakers, elf costumes, or whatever strikes your fancy! Let’s make this our most exciting - and busy - holiday season yet!

Uxbridge Toy Drive Returns!

Support the Uxbridge Toy Drive and bring joy to local children this holiday season! Visit www.uxbridgetoydrive.com to request a donation or make a contribution. They especially need donations for teenagers and infants, and cash and gift cards are always welcome. Please ensure your contributions are in no later than December 19th to allow time for pickup, sorting, and distribution.

Drop points for the Toy Drive are at Body Fit, Canadian Tire Uxbridge, McDonalds, Zehrs, and Uxbridge Bruins home games. If you'd like to volunteer for sorting and distributing, please email Andy Luukkonen.

NRG 4 Life Discounts

The BIA Board is pleased to announce an exclusive offer from NRG 4 Life Fitness available to all BIA members and their families! Corporate rates await, with discounts activating once a minimum of two BIA members or their family members register. The more participants, the greater the discount:

• 2-5 members: 10% discount

• 6-10 members: 15% discount

• Above 10 members: 20% discount

Seniors and students can also benefit from the senior/student rate, combined with the applicable corporate discount. This offer is activated under the BIA and is valid for BIA businesses' staff and their families.

CEBA Loans - Key Dates

Stay informed about the key dates for CEBA Loans:

• December 31, 2023: Deadline for full loan repayment for businesses not eligible for loan forgiveness.

• January 18, 2024: Deadline for repayment to qualify for the interest-free grace period and partial loan forgiveness.

• March 28, 2024: Deadline for repayment to qualify for partial loan forgiveness for eligible borrowers who applied to refinance the loan by January 18, 2024.

• December 31, 2026: Final repayment deadline for all outstanding CEBA loans and applicable interest.
