Township Lifts Significant Weather Event Advisory – March 31st

Improved weather conditions have aided Township Road maintenance crews as they work to clear roads, sidewalks and parking lots. As a result, the Township is lifting the advisory of a Significant Weather Event that was declared on March 28th.

Township to Deploy Resources for Tree Debris Cleanup Support

In response to the recent ice storm, the Township of Uxbridge is committed to assisting residents with storm cleanup efforts. Crews will be deployed to support tree debris removal in affected areas.
Once it is safe to do so, urban-area and hamlet residents, with properties of 2 acres or less, may place tree debris at the roadside for collection. Township Declares Significant Weather Event Due to Forecasted Ice Accumulation

Based on forecasted weather conditions, the Township wishes to advise residents that roads may be slippery. Residents are asked to drive according to the weather conditions.
Roads, sidewalks and parking lots will be sanded and salted as soon as crews are able to address them.
Thank-you for your patience during the ice clearing operations. Please assist our work crews by refraining from on-street parking to enable plows to go down the street.
