The Township of Uxbridge is pleased to announce the launch of a pilot project aimed at improving the caller experience. Smart Answer Activation, a platform powered by artificial intelligence (AI), will step in when callers are unable to reach a live representative. Township Lifts Significant Weather Event Advisory – March 31st

Improved weather conditions have aided Township Road maintenance crews as they work to clear roads, sidewalks and parking lots. As a result, the Township is lifting the advisory of a Significant Weather Event that was declared on March 28th.

Drivers and pedestrians are advised to remain cautious, as tree debris is still present on some roads, there are localized areas of melting water, and icy conditions may occur. Please drive according to the road conditions.

Township to Deploy Resources for Tree Debris Cleanup Support

In response to the recent ice storm, the Township of Uxbridge is committed to assisting residents with storm cleanup efforts. Crews will be deployed to support tree debris removal in affected areas.

Once it is safe to do so, urban-area and hamlet residents, with properties of 2 acres or less, may place tree debris at the roadside for collection. The Township will be picking up, chipping, and removing debris over the coming weeks with assistance from local contractors. Collection will begin April...

Township Declares Significant Weather Event Due to Forecasted Ice Accumulation

Based on forecasted weather conditions, the Township wishes to advise residents that roads may be slippery. Residents are asked to drive according to the weather conditions.  

Roads, sidewalks and parking lots will be sanded and salted as soon as crews are able to address them.  

Thank-you for your patience during the ice clearing operations. Please assist our work crews by refraining from on-street parking to enable plows to go down the street.
