Uxbridge Urban Provincial Park is a 532-hectare operating, recreational class park, located in the Township of Uxbridge. There are limited numbers of parking spots and several short trails to use at this time. If you’re thinking of visiting the park, read this blog so you know what to expect.

Currently there are limited amenities and operations at the park while Ontario Parks staff work to develop a park management plan. The final approved management plan will guide protection, land uses and recreational opportunities.

Once a park management plan is finalized, Ontario Parks will take a gradual and phased approach to park operations and any new park development.

Community Involvement

Since the concept of the Provincial Park was first announced, Ontario Parks staff have collected a lot of public input. You can read the summary of the survey results here.

Ontario Parks staff have also prepared a background information document that summarizes what they discovered about the lands as they studied and assessed them.

Ontario Parks is looking for additional input to help guide their management plans. The public can make comments here.

Public comments to inform the management plan are being accepted until July 30th.
