The Canada Day House Decorating Contest has Returned!

Back in 2020, after being unable to host their yearly Canada Day fireworks show and celebration, the Canada Day committee got creative and ran a house decoration contest on social media. This year, on top of the annual fireworks and celebration, the committee is bringing the contest back!

The rules are simple, decorate your house, lawn, family, or pets for Canada Day. Then share your photos on the Uxbridge Canada Day Facebook page (Canada Day Uxbridge | Facebook) using #UxbridgeProud2024. Once you have shared, have your friends and family vote by liking your post. The 3 highest voted participants will win! Participants will have from June 1st until June 29th at 11:59pm to post and ‘vote’ on photos. Winners will be announced on July 1st, 2024.

Prizes, along with more information, are soon to be announced on the Canada Day Facebook page, so be sure to stay tuned. Good luck to all participants and we look forward to seeing your entries!
