Traffic signal change at the intersection of Brock Street and Toronto Street in Uxbridge

In support of Durham Vision Zero, a strategic road safety action plan, the Region of Durham will be changing the sequence of traffic signals at the intersection of Brock Street and Toronto Street in the Township of Uxbridge.

The traffic signal sequence, which refers to the order and timing of the traffic lights, will be updated to separate the pedestrians crossing on the south side of the intersection from the westbound left-turning vehicles, as well as pedestrians crossing on the north side from the eastbound left-turning vehicles. This change aims to increase safety for pedestrians crossing at this intersection.
