Environment Canada issued a heat warning on July 15th for the Township of Uxbridge and the surrounding area. A humid airmass has reached the region. Daytime maximum temperatures are expected to be near 29 degrees Celsius with humidex values near 40.
Residents seeking relief from the heat may visit Town Hall in Uxbridge between 8:30am and 4:30pm. Uxbridge Library is also offering relief from the heat during regular business hours. Please see Contact – Uxbridge Public Library (uxlib.com) for hours of operation.
The Uxpool has public swimming available Monday, July 15th and Tuesday, July 16th from 7:00-8:00p.m. The Splash Pad is also open daily from 9:00a.m.-9:00p.m.
