New all-way stop at Sandford Road/Herald Road and York Durham Line in Uxbridge

In support of Durham Vision Zero, The Regional Municipality of Durham is implementing a new all-way stop at the intersection of Sandford Road (Regional Road 11)/Herald Road and York Durham Line (Regional Road 30) in the Township of Uxbridge.  At the intersection of Sandford Road/Herald Road and York Durham Line in Uxbridge.  Work will be done on July 25, 2024. Unfavourable weather conditions may impact the work schedule.

The new all-way stop will require all drivers in each direction to stop their vehicle before entering the intersection and yield the right-of-way to the first vehicle or other road user to come to a complete stop. This enhancement will improve safety by providing a controlled crossing for all road users.
