Road closure on Ashworth Road in Uxbridge

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of a road closure on Ashworth Road in the Township of Uxbridge.

When: September 30 to October 31. Unfavourable weather conditions may impact the work schedule.

Where: Ashworth Road from Concession 6 to Regional Road 1 (Concession Road 7), in Uxbridge.

Why: Road closure is in place to accommodate the road reconstruction of Regional Road 1 (Concession 7).

Note: The Region realizes that the work may be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews.
