Back to SearchThe Township is preparing to commence annual street sweeping, which is expected to take 6-8 weeks, weather permitting. During this time, please try to avoid on-street parking.
Please be advised that there will be no special pick-up for sand left in piles or in pails. We ask that sand is left on the roads. Residents are permitted to rake any sand that has accumulated on boulevards into curbs or gutters prior to the sweeping of the streets. A secondary sweep of missed areas due to parked cars will occur after all sweeping is complete.
The street sweeping schedule is as follows:
- Southwest corner of town
- Southeast corner of town
- Northeast corner of town
- Rural subdivisions and hamlets
- Northwest corner of town
- Town parking lots
Note: the intersection of Brock St. and Main St. is used as the centre point for division points.
