Township Furthers Downtown Revitalization Objectives with Uxbridge Parking Strategy Study

One of the key objectives outlined in the Downtown Revitalization Strategic Plan & Action Plan is the establishment of a downtown that is pedestrian focused, and that actively supports inclusion and accessibility. One of the action items required to achieve this goal is the completion of a parking study.  

Since approval of this plan, the Township has engaged LEA Consulting Ltd. to undertake this study, and the implementation is currently underway. As part of the analysis of existing conditions, facilities and utilization phase, the Township has launched the Uxbridge Downtown Parking Survey to gain input from stakeholders including business owners, employees, visitors, and members of the public to determine key issues facing parking in downtown Uxbridge.  

This survey seeks to assess the parking needs in the downtown area for on-and-off-street parking locations to optimize current and future parking opportunities.

The survey closes on October 25^th, 2024.
