Upcoming closure on Regional Road 1 in Uxbridge

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of a road closure on Regional Road 1 (Concession Road 7) in the Township of Uxbridge.

When: April 14 to July 9, 2025. Unfavourable weather conditions may impact the work schedule.

Where: Regional Road 1 (Concession Road 7), between Regional Road 13 and Foster Drive, in Uxbridge.

Why: The road closure is in place to accommodate the reconstruction of Regional Road 1 (Concession Road 7). For more information, visit durham.ca/RegionalRoad1.

Note: Traffic will be detoured for the duration of the work onto Davis Drive, Lake Ridge Road (Regional Road 23) and Regional Road 13.

Businesses will remain open for the duration of construction. The Region recognizes there may be potential impacts during the work.
