Upcoming lane restrictions on Brock Road in Pickering and Uxbridge

The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of upcoming lane restrictions on Brock Road in the City of Pickering and Township of Uxbridge.  July 17 through October 23. Unfavourable weather conditions and the Region’s contractor schedule may influence the work schedule.  From Brock Road (Regional Road 1) from north of Ninth Concession Road (Regional Road 5) to 200 metres north of Uxbridge Pickering Townline Road, in the City of Pickering and Township of Uxbridge.  Daily lane restrictions will be required for the duration of the project to facilitate road rehabilitation on Brock Road. Work will consist of culvert replacements, ditching, pulverizing of existing asphalt and granular base, placement of asphalt including paved shoulders, new guide rail and new pavement markings.

The Region realizes that the construction work will be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of work crews.
