Uxbridge to Switch Permit Parking Systems in Response to User Feedback

In 2021, the Township of Uxbridge launched the pilot paid permit parking at Trail Heads and the Fields of Uxbridge.

After a year of the pilot project, the Township began assessing how to improve and modify the program prior to long-term implementation. Based on user feedback received, the Township is switching permit parking systems. Listening closely to the needs and suggestions of residents, the Township recognized the need for a more user-friendly system and as a result, the Township will begin the implementation of HotSpot.

HotSpot was developed in 2013 by parking and payment management experts and will provide an ease-of-use solution with quality first-line support.

The new platform is set to launch this May. While the Township begins the transition, detailed instructions and support will be provided to residents and current annual pass holders. Once launched, the Township’s website will have updated information on registration and FAQs and staff will be available for support.
