Pat Higgins Park and Bonner Fields

Pat Higgins Park and Bonner Fields are located at 1 Capstick Lane, Uxbridge, On

Bonner Fields has two baseball fields, seasonal washrooms, a shade pavilion and picnic tables. The Bonner Fields are adjacent to Pat Higgins Park. The park has a playground and an Inclusive Jump Start Multi-Sport Court. The fields and park are open daily from 8 a.m. until 10 p.m., May through October. The Ewen Trail passes through Bonner Fields and Pat Higgins Park.

About Pat Higgins

Mr. Higgins has been a major supporter of and volunteer in the Community for over 24 years. His efforts to support affordable recreation programming, and community development through the Canadian Tire Jumpstart’s Community Development Fund have benefitted hundreds of families. Mr. Higgins founded the Huck Finn Fishing Event and organized it for 20 years. He is part of the annual Christmas Toy Drive and has sat on the board of the Uxbridge Hospital. His significant support of local service clubs and groups such as Precious Minds has enabled their success.

To recognize and thank Mr. Higgins for his community contributions over many years the park adjacent to Bonner Fields has been renamed the Pat Higgins Park in his honour.
