Accessibility Advisory Committee

The Township of Uxbridge Accessibility Advisory Committee (AAC) works with Council to create an accessible and barrier free community. They review municipal building and infrastructure plans, policies and programs to ensure that they are accessible to all.

Meetings

We hold bi-monthly meetings throughout the year. Please contact the Accessibility Coordinator to find out when the next meeting is.

Responsibilities

The AAC is responsible for advising Council about all matters related to accessibility. This includes developing and implementing the Multi-year Accessibility Plan and ensuring that the Township complies with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).
