Review the Downtown Uxbridge Flood Reduction Environmental Study Report which looks at how to reduce flood risk in downtown Uxbridge. This report was developed in partnership with the Region of Durham.
Study area
Unless fixed, a flood risk occurs in downtown Uxbridge for the land beside the main branch of Uxbridge Brook, from Elgin Pond to just north of Brock Street. This risk is due to a long culvert which encloses the creek from Centennial Drive to about 100 m north of Brock Street.
