Site Plans

All new development within the Township of Uxbridge must receive site plan approval. During the application process, we will examine the design and technical aspects of the proposed development to ensure it meets the Zoning By-Law, Official Plan and Community Improvement Plan regulations and requirements.

Site plans provide detailed information about development plans for a specific property. For example, they describe the location of parking, property access, building details and landscaping details.

Applying for site plan approval

Before you start, please email us to book a pre-consultation meeting or call 905-852-9181 - Development Services Department. We will review your site plan and provide feedback prior to the official submission.

When you are ready to apply, please send a completed Site Plan Approval Application to the Development Services Department to apply. View our Site Plan Approval Application Guide for more details about the site plan process.

If we approve your site plan, we will create a site plan agreement registered on the title to the property.
